Congrats to Jags. I expected a larger margin here also. Sounds like Middlesboro is improving.

This game was tied 8-8 at the half. Jackets D was very impressive the entire first half. After a 2 hour rain delay the Jags came out with better energy and had success. Middlesboro now heads in to favorable matchups the next two weeks in Harlan and Pineville.

To this point in the season, every team the Jackets have faced have been in a larger class. Hope it serves them well the rest of the year.

Those that expected a larger margin have not seen NL. Middlesboro was the better team on paper. Middlesboro was much bigger , faster and stronger. Middlesboro May be one of the most underachieving teams anywhere. Claiborne Co. Was better than NL.

NL got graduated about 20 last year and have the youngest team they have had in years. Experience was on our side last night.
