Always great to see a youngster earn a scholarship to further the playing days, but most importantly further their education. Congrats on the achievement and hope his college years are very rewarding and memorable!

Congratulations Case. Heck of a basketball player in high school so I'm hoping to see some of his time on the hardwood with Pikeville College.

#7
Congrats and good luck, Jamie

Congrats to Jamie it will be nice to see Brad Lowe and him back on the hardwood together they use to play ball back in grade school together and AAU ball. It would be awsome to see Hicks, Lowe and Case on the same team they would shot the lights out of it.

If you think about this, PC could be playing Jamie Case, Brad Lowe, Justin Hicks, that big 6'10 guy, and the JR. College player of they year, now that's a nice lineup.

They will need more than that to compete in the conference

Congrats Jamie...

Well Brad is coming along nicely and that Jr. College guy's nickname was something like "Sir hops a lot" so I'd say he can provide some offense, and with a good PG like Jamie they will win a good margin of games this year.

Good luck to him

The Jr College player they mentioned at the regional tourney isnt there anymore.

If Hicks goes to Pikeville, He will be the PG, not Case.

I seriously doubt that...Hicks is probably as good a shooter as Case, but nowhere else does his game stack up.

I'd take Case over Hicks 7 days a week, and twice on Sunday.

hope he does good

I would take a CASE on Sunday but not any other days of the week. Its more the other way around. Case is like 4 inches shorter than Hicks. Not to mention that Hicks is a better ball handler, shooter, and all around better PG.

4 inches shorter than hicks? well obviously you have never seen both of these players....case is round 6'0-6'1 and hicks is like 5'9...Hicks may have a nicer shot SOMETIMES but Case can handle better, pass better, see the floor better, and has a lot more potential than Hicks...Sorry to disappoint you Raven Boy...

I dont see where this conversation is going. I would be surprised if Jamie or Justin started point guard next season. They might on the JV team, but not the varsity.

I watched the east west game and Hicks is probalby an inch taller. I think Hicks is around 5'11. I really doubt that you have seen Hicks play much or you wouldn't make some of those commits. I've seen both play and I must say HIcks is the far superior player. Hicks was voted second team allstate by the lex hearld and recieved 6 first team votes. I think there must be something to say about this kid when he is recieving that kind of votes from the coaches. He has also been voted 14th region POY two consective years by the coaches and just blew Clark Stepp away in the votes 9 to 1. Hicks can play and I must say he looked much better in the east west game than Case. Good luck to both, but look for Hicks to be a starter next year, if he does attend Pikeville.

Case is not even close to being 6'1 he may be 5'10 if that. Hicks is taller, stronger and shoots better. Flaws to him is his attitude off the court as well he gets shock up really easily. Case's off the court attitude is not any better nor is it on the court, I look for Hicks to play befor Case. Both are very talented players.

Thats impressive but saying Stepp got blew out of the POY running is not a strong argument. Hicks has a year on him so it was pretty obvious that Hicks would get it befor Stepp. Stepp did get the 14th regional MVP so that is saying enough for him for this season IMO.
