Thoughts and Predictions for upcoming season.

McCreary Central lost a lot of talent from last season. I think this group have worked harder in Wt. Room and on Plyo's than any team in past few years. 3 new kids coming into program with some skill will be a huge help. Look for this season to be better than last.

Have not kept up with McCreary much since we don't play them anymore. At that time they were pretty good. Look for them to be about like last season. Wish them luck.

Not a word, my guess would be not so good.

What I read online a news article said the scrimmage ended with each team scoring two touchdowns

I don't have a clue. Not a lot of chatter about the scrimmage and usually there is a lot of talk when MC does well. I don't know if a 2 to 2 score is good or not against Jellico. In the past they have not been very good.

I think McCreary will have a rough year but jelico won 4 games last year got blew out by Lynn camp and Williamsburg
Beat berea pretty bad so I think it gives hope that McCreary could win 2 or three games over the Season and I'll accept that over 0-10 back to the abyss. But that's just judging of one scrimmage with no details. I'd like to hear from a source that has seen them play.

It's going to be hard for the Raiders to replace Brandon Troxell and Hunter Jones. The ability to replace the offensive production they lost in those 2 should predicate how their season goes.

I think that troxell is the biggest hit to the offense from watching a lot of the games last year but the ability to play defense is the biggest issue I seen if they can learn to play defense and stop other teams then that will make a productive season with coach ford I think he can find a way for the team to score points.
The defense in 9 games was letting 50 points a game totaling 455 points that's the real issue to address

Troxell is a huge loss, but remember the line they lost playing in front of him. MC lost 5 good lineman, Jones and Williams and crew will be missed a lot. Agree Def. last 2 years has been nothing short of BAD. Maybe Bozeman can get it up to par. I think it will be a long season with maybe 2 to 3 wins. Look for some blow outs. Hope they can get things together.

I can't possibly see how. Underperformance by players is on the staff. No way should talent like that have won so few games.

More work should have been put forward no "fall breaks" before the biggest game of the season discipline played into it and defense was the key factor.
The 2nd and 3rd quarter of the Perry central game and againist Paul Laurence Dunbar was the best flashes of McCreary last year

Has anyone heard about the scrimmage at north Laurel I'm sure it may have been rough. I'd like to hear some details on the McCreary team this year

North scored once and McCreary scored once, Raiders looked much better then expected.

That's the results I heard. If MC can find a way to stop people they can be pretty good. I don't know how good N. Laurel is going to be, in the past several years they have been pretty good. Guess we will find out about the Raiders Friday Night.
