An assistant football coach at Boyd County High School turned himself in to sheriff's deputies Thursday morning.
Vincent Jones faces a felony, sexual abuse charge of sodomy.
Commonwealth Attorney David Justice tells NewsChannel 3 the abuse complaint comes from a female student.
He says the alleged sex act happened on school property.
Besides coaching, Jones monitored the school detention room.
Jones is now behind bars at the Boyd County Detention Center, where he refused to comment on the charges.

That is fine, but then why didn't he say that it was the man's word against 2 girls?
Instead, he tried to discredit the girls by getting on here and saying that the girls were under disiplinary action.

Well....Dude....That is exactly the point....That is all everyone else did, but you tell them to just let it go and not jump to conclusions, then you go and try to paint a dark picture of the girls.
I know none of the involved, or the situation. I had not jumped to any conclusion about the guy, but to someone on the outside. your posts seem biased against the girls already.
After all....in most schools, detention is used as punishment for very mild rules violations.

yeah you aint a bad student cause your in detention, c;mon now. If you do somethin bad youll get susspended or in school susspension. at Russell the only way you can get detention is by being late for school.

I NEVER said that the girls were BAD GIRLS. I said they were apparently not "MODEL" students.
Do you even know what that means?
A model student is always on time, makes good grades is involved in extra curricular activities at school and would NEVER be put in Detention, suspension or anything else for that matter. In fact a MODEL student would be given scholorships, awards and accolades.

I didn't say that your a bad student for getting put in detention or anything else. Kids will be kids and some of them get in trouble. I did and I'm not a bad person either.

Model students don't have sexual relations with a school official nor do they lie about having sexual relations with school officials. Either they had sexual relations with this guy or they lied about having sexual relations with this guy.

Never been in trouble in or out of school. Then, while on the way to school one day they get behind a car wreck and show up 20 minutes late and they are put in detention that they still would not be a model student? You said that model students never get put in detention. So I guess all those years would not have mattered?

People mind there own business and leave the it to the legal system you wouldnt be having this war of words right now....But....Thats human nature, people love to gossip but in a case like this you never know what happened only the coach and the ones involved do and any time someone that is in a position of authority has something of this nature tossed at them deserving or not there tried and convicted at the mall,grocery store any where that 2 people can stand and gab....Ive seen people who have had this same scenario who where totally INNOCENT and proved to be with out a shadow of a doubt there careers ruined by the idiots who love to make something out of nothing and decide someones fate by what the grapevine figures is true over what is actual...

Unfortunately for this man, whether he is innocent or guilty, his reputation is already ruined. Thats the way its works in this neck of the woods-damned if ya do and damned if ya don't and its too bad. I have never met him but have always heard what a great guy he was.

Just like the Duke scandal. Those players lives are ruined for something that they didn't do, just someone wanting money.
