Nothing I can do about it. The Players are the ones who make sure that no one ever forgets.

I remember your son. He was a key member of the Red Devils in 2005.

Why does evry thread turn into a red devils page?? lol...theyre good but 10 out of 10 of the thread starter's top 10 were russel red devils games. I can remember A LOT more games than just these 10. Blackcat student would have the best one IMO. Dont get me wrong russel red devils are a great team...good luck to them, but it seems like evry thread turns into a russel thread.lol
#9
Maybe its a Russell thread because we have a lot of Red Devil supporters on this site. It says Top 10 that you have seen or played in. If you can do any better A Decent Lineman then why don't you post your 10 on Hazard.

Looks to me like Blackcatstudent posted 10 games from the team he supports. No different than Devilswin posting ten games from the team he supports.

Devilswin's username should tell you who he supports. I can also tell you that my oldest son played for Russell from 02-05.

This thread can go any direction the members take it. Every one list their top ten and we can all discuss them.

this is a great thread..but from the games Ive seen or played in, here's mine..
1 Belfry 20 Pburg 14, 2004..the best game Ive ever seen
2 Fleming Neon 24 Whitesburg 23, 1991
3 Pikeville 14 Jenkins 12, 1992
4 Belfry 27 Pburg 19, 2003
5 Jenkins 14, #3 Pikeville 0, 1984
6 Whitesburg 6, Jenkins 0, 1993
7 Jenkins 7, Evarts 6, 1993
8 Evarts 25, Jenkins 19, 2ot, 1991
9 Fleming Neon 23 Hazard 20, 2001
10 Fleming Neon 13 Whitesburg 6, 2000
Ill give you the Russell/Whitesburg game in 1994..that one would have made my list had Russell not cost me $200, lol..but me, my dad and my two brothers went to that game..I played for Jenkins from 1990-93 and there were several great games I remember, but this is my list..but great job DevilsWin on the thread, this is one of the more fun threads on here..

There are a bunch of good games you could put on here from Sheldon Clark..

Sheldon Clark - Belfry 35-29 (OT) I think that has to be on there

And as much as I hate to say it..

Sheldon Clark - P-Burg 20-17 (OT)

Also, the Sheldon Clark Ashland game a few years ago. Can't remember the score, but it was impressive. Back when SC, Ashland, Lawerence were all in the same district in AAA.

If you'll look closer I mentioned 9 other teams besides Russell. And Russell didn't win all of those games either. So where's your list ADL? I figure Hazard has had some great games too.

You actually named 10 other teams besides Russell therefore you have named 11 good teams out there. I am proud to be a Russell fan and would not have any other input besides games that Russell has played in. Sorry.....

I will never forget the first game between us and SCHS. It was so dramatic, but probally one of the worst called games in KHSAA history. Both teams literally had 25 flags thrown on them. Late in the fourth quarter, wes woods got threw out because he fore-armed someone in the chest, and it was completley legal. I know you schs fans will say it wasnt, but the khsaa reviewed it and said it was "poposterous", and woods got out of the 2 game suspension. Sheldon clark marched down the field, and with about 3 seconds to go, attempted a field goal that would have won but missed right by about a foot. It went into OT with the score 14/14, schs made a field goal, which made it 17/14, and on prestonsburgs 2nd play, bobby hughes scored on a fake give qb sneak to win the game.

Cov Cath- 41 Highlands- 35, winning in double OT after CovCath being down 22 in the second quarter

i have a book called Not Till The Fat Lady Sings and it has the 50 greatest sports games of all time. everything from hockey to football. it has pro games, college games and olympic games in it. but coming in at #50 is the Kentucky AAAA state championship in 02 when Trinity defeated Male 59-56. Brian Brohm (U of L's qb) was qb for Trinity and Michael Bush (U of L's half back) was qb for Male. There was a combined 1,337 yds gained in that game. Brohm completed 19 of 25 passes for 552 yards and 7 td's. Bush, although he lost, 33-47 passes for 468 yards and 6 tds. rand the ball 24 times for 116 yds and made 7 tackles and was named Student Sports National Player of the Week.

now i didnt see this game, nor do i think its the best ever, ut i just thought it was cool that this game was in a book about not the top 50 high school football games ever, but the top 50 sports games ever. any sport, any level. just thought its cool.

What about the Region Championship game at "The Rock" several years ago. Rockcastle Co. defeated Sheldon Clark 7-6 or some score very close to it. That was a heck of a game.
