No Breathitt Vacancy?
#1
Breathitt won 3 games last year. 2 vs Riverside and one vs Jackson City. 3-23!! and it looks like we're not getting a new coach. Don't want to hear the "we were young" excuse. 3 starters quit due to coaching and a couple transferred. Excuses. The team is what the coach made it into. He was responsible for the players that quit and transferred. The players that sacrifice their time, energy and parents money deserve better than this. The boys have a $100,000 a year coach, why not the girls.

Maybe you need to voice your concerns to the board of education and principal instead of coming to a message board. I’m sure no one on here can make the change.

Breathitt was young last season. Lost their best player to transfer. Takes longer to rebuild. Rome wasn't built over night

Breathitt started a major downward spiral when they forced the legendary late Peggy Moore out. It takes a long time to recover from having a hall of fame coach with a ton of experience to unproven coaches.

The downward spiral started when Kendall Noble left.

Breathitt had a couple of teams that was plenty talented enough to win the region after Kendall and didn’t have the coaching to win. No program is going to be as good as they are when they have a Kendall Noble type player but Breathitt has always been a top of the region program.

Definitely sounds like a Title 9 violation to me, just saying! I would think that they have to pay both coaches the same, so winning 3 games would definitely be worth the 100,000 paycheck. :hilarious:

There is ways around the title 9. They get paid for other meaningless duties not tied to coaching.

I would say they do pay both coaches the same but noble probably has more duties other than coaching that boosts his pay.

Is there any truth that Breathitt County has let this coach go?
