Belfry vs. Johnson Central (15th Region Semis)

After a big win against Shelby Valley can the Pirates keep it rolling? Or will JC make their 7th trip in a row to the championship game? What's your all's thoughts? Could go either way, but I'm calling Belfry by 3 in a nail biter.

I think Johnson Central has really improved throughout this season. They seem really balanced on offense right now which I think causes a problem for Belfry because all of their guys are going to have to guard they can't just put Varney or Blankenship on one player and shut them down. Another big key is going to be can JC slow down Robilee (don't know if I spelled that right or not). Belfry has other players that can score especially Varney if JC don't get back in transition. But I really think when Robilee is scoring well it takes pressure off those other players, so if he is being slowed down by JC it is gonna be tough for Belfry to get the W. But I do not see either team winning by more than 5. Should be a heck of a game. Good luck to both teams and I'm hoping for an injury free game.

Is this game on the court or the gridiron? Haha should be a dandy either way. Belfry played great against Valley Wed night. They play with a ton of heart. JC may have a little more basketball savy but you can't measure effort sometimes. Can't wait to watch this one.

Having seen both, I think Belfry really can win this game.
JC is so/so. BHS looking much more consistent as of late!

Belfry is playing well right now. Devin Varney has really picked up his game and the whole team is competing hard. Johnson Central is playing well too though. They have a really balanced attack and Jacob Rice has stepped up as the go to guy at the end of the season. Iâd love to see the young Golden Eagles get a win here and make another regional championship game but I think Belfry being basically all seniors plays with more urgency not wanting their careers to end and wins by 5.

Both games will be wars with a packed Expo Center...doesn't get any better and all 4 teams can win it all...
