RALEIGH – The NC State men's basketball team secured its fifth win over a top-25 opponent this season as it shot a blistering 59.1 percent from beyond the arc to propel the Pack to a 92-72 win over No. 25 Florida State Sunday night inside PNC Arena.

The victory moved NC State to 20-9 overall and 10-6 in the ACC while the Seminoles fall to 19-9 and 8-8 in conference play. The Wolfpack's 92 points was the most its ever scored against FSU, topping its previous best of 90 which it achieved in 1990.

The Pack has now won four consecutive regular season ACC games for the first time since 2006.

NC State finished the game shooting 50 percent from the field (33-for-66), marking the first time NC State has shot 50 percent or better from the field in five consecutive ACC games a stretch of games during the 1986 season (Feb. 5 to Feb. 23).

Allerik Freeman led the Wolfpack with 25 points on 7-for-13 shooting, Torin Dorn added 19 on 8-for-14 from the field and Sam Hunt connected on four-for-four three-point attempts to end with 14 points. Markell Johnson finished with 12 points and tied his career high in three-pointers made, going 3-of-4.

Freeman has led the Pack in scoring in every game during the current four-game win streak.

Hunt's perfect night from three made it the second-straight contest he has been perfect from beyond the arc; against Boston College on Feb. 20 he also went 4-of-4 to give him a streak of eight three-pointers made. In his last four games, Hunt is now 14-of-17 from three.

Omer Yurtseven went an efficient 6-for-7 to add 13 points and a team high eight rebounds. Braxton Beverly led the team in assists with eight and Allerik Freeman's four steals were a team and career high.
The Seminoles never led as the Pack controlled the tempo from the outset, earning its first double-figure lead with 12:41 remaining in the first half after a Johnson layup. The Pack's biggest lead in the first half came with 2:15 remaining following a Torin Dorn layup, giving it a 45-25 advantage. A Dorn pull-up jumper with 0:03 seconds before halftime saw NC State head into the break with a 48-29 lead; the Seminoles could not contain the Wolfpack's transition game as NC State finished with 15 fast break points compared to the four by Florida State in the half.

Hunt and Freeman were the story of the second half; Hunt knocked down his first three-pointer with 14:01 left and didn't look back as he netted his three other attempts. The two combined to score 26 points and hit 6-of-7 three-pointers in the second half.

The Pack's biggest lead was 28 and came with 5:33 left to play following a Freeman three-pointer as it closed the game out to finish with the 92-72 victory.
