Apparently, a lot of UK fans used to
play ball. They were slow and could
not jump. They played some minutes,
but not as much as they wanted to because
quicker guys with more athleticism played
ahead of them. Now, they are in denial
about the drop in talent at UK because
they identify with guys like Perry and
Thomas. They hate to admit that slow
guys who cannot jump NINE OUT OF TEN
TIMES will lose to guys with quickness
and athletic ability. Here's the deal:
the quick, athletic guys are made to
work just as hard by their coaches. So,
the slow guy doesn't even get the advantage
of outworking everybody any longer. Larry
Bird was a 6-9 guy who was mobile, could
shoot like crazy, knew the game like crazy,
competed like crazy. Scott Padgett was in
the same mold. But, all in all, the best
athletes win. UK no longer has even close
to the best athletes. Thus, we lose.

I agree... Tubby has made UK into a average team. We never get the best players anymore.
