A BIG CONGRATS GOES OUT TO ECHS LADY ENGINEERS FOR WINNING THE 56TH DISTRICT! THE GIRLS PLAYED AN OUTSTANDING GAME AGAINST RIVAL POWELL COUNTY. THE SCORE : 50-46 [i do believe]

The ladt pirates played a heck of a game ,I think from watching them from the stands that they got to confident at the end of the game and let the lady neers have it .Good luck pirates in regions!!!

the lady pirates let them have it in the begining. at the end of the game it the lady neers who wanted it more, which is pretty obvious since they were down the entire game and came back to win it all in the fourth! way to go estill.

well i agree the pirates thought they had it won at the end then had four turnovers which hurt them really bad

What does this sort of babblerap mean? "Let them have it"?
Two teams, playing for the district title, a fierce rivalry game...
I don't think "let them have it" applies. One can say a
team makes "costly mistakes" or doesn't execute well
down the stretch. But, "let them have it" implies that
the victory is somehow tainted or not earned. This
is ridiculous. Both teams wanted the game desperately.
Both teams love to beat the other. To this point, Estill
leads the season series two games to one. Were they
to meet in the regional final, whew, what a war!!
