Johnson Central vs. Moore (9/15)

Johnson Central makes their FIRST EVER trip to Louisville/Jefferson County for a varsity football game vs. The Moore Mustangs. Both teams are in Class 4A.

Moore is 3-1 on the season.
JC is 3-0 on the season.

GoogleMaps says 257 N. Mayo Trail to the South end of the Outer Loop is 184 miles.

This will be only the second varsity football game JC has ever played vs. a Jefferson County/Louisville area team.

2007 - Lou. Central: JC won 48-29.
The same season Lou. Central won the Class 3A state championship over Belfry.

Through three games....
JC is averaging 37 PPG on Offense. & allowing 25 on PPG on Defense.

Through four games....
Moore is averaging 34.5 PPG of Offense & allowing 17 PPG on Defense.

Big time competition this week for Johnson County. JC is leaving no doubt this year in who has the states weakest schedule. I mean seriously Taylor County plays stiffer competition.

Collins was at home and this is JCs 3rd game in a row traveling on a bus at least 2.5 hours one way. Travel fatigue could cause this to be a trap game for JC before district starts.

His mom had on Facebook he had surgery. Asking for prayers and said he would be out for the season. A big blow to his team.

Luckily for JC, the rest of 4A is terrible.
