Freshman pitcher Fairchild throws a complete game. Had double digit strikeouts. Scattered a few hits. Gave up the only run in the 1st inning and settled down after that. Had some real nice velocity tonight.

The LC right fielder made one HECK of a diving catch with the game at 3-1 and I believe in the 5th inning. Belfry had a runner on 2nd, with 2 outs, and a rocket was hit to deep RF and he made a great diving catch.

LC was led by Parks and Roe offensively, again. Each had multiple hard hits. LC had about 5 or 6 balls that were roped but right at Belfry players, either the CF or SS seemed to be in the right place at the right time.

LC plays Pike Central Wednesday evening at 7PM.
