I'd say you can say anything you want right now and it wouldn't matter to the Pikeville fans, their coaching staff or their players. I'm not a Pikeville fan,but you have to give them credit on this night. Don't forget the coaches never scored a point. I congratulate them and wish them Good Luck in representing our region.

Congrats Coach Justice and Pikeville. Had a feeling pikeville would win this one. JC was way overconfident... All I've heard at work by JC folks since before district tournament is how JC had a cakewalk to RUPP this year.

Congrats to coach Justice, it's his first. Booger is an assistant
#7
Shame they wouldn't let Booher cut the net. Said it was for safety reasons. They said he can't climb the ladder without stepping on people. Just ask Kevin Garris and Bart Williams.

Congrats Pikeville :worthy:

I give the kids all the credit in the world. Huge accomplishment for them and I couldn't be happier for them.

As for the adults, I'll never support people who are unethical.

Congratulations to Coach Justice and the Pikeville Panthers.

Congrats to Pikeville! Got beat fair and square! Represent the 15th well next week!

Pikeville had a 27-12 3rd. That was the difference.

JC was up 18 in the 2nd qtr.

Pikeville just beat us. Can't blame the refs, can't blame nobody.... JC got outplayed in the 2nd half.

Pikeville will be a tough out for the 14th region winner.

I enjoyed the fans who livestreamed the entire game on Facebook live. Saved me a trip to the Expo and $30-40.

You must be expensive then. Family of 5 only set me back $35. Maybe lay off the hotdogs.

The food is terrible but there are 3 McDonald's in Pikeville so hit one of them up on the way to the Expo and stuff up on the dollar menu.

Congratulations Pikeville!!

I will be there to watch you.

For the first time ever, HC will play at Rupp!!!!

Loosing in the regional championship games in 2008 and 2016 was no fun, but the teams that beat JC were better. Paintsville and Lawrence County was the better team.

Tonight was painful. One of the most painful losses I can remember. From being up 18 in the 1st half and what looked like was gonna be a blowout win turned in to loosing by 11, and it doesn't seem possible, but it happened. Pikeville slowly and steadily chipped away at the JC lead..... a 2 point basket here and there, a couple 3's and a few drives and getting an And 1 added up quickly. #2 & #12 for Pikeville came to play some ball. They both had some huge rebounds in the 2nd half and was able to drive the ball and score.

This one hurts.... but life will go on. Getting to the regional championship for six straight seasons and winning four straight of those six is something that most teams can only dream of. If loosing this game is the worst feeling these students have in their life, they will live a blessed life. One day, they will look back on this day and smile. It may be a few years down the road, but they all will be able to look back and remember the good times of this season.
