We have a local girl having a very good season. I'm not putting these stats on here to brag but just to get her name out there. PCC's Lyndsay Proffitt is leading the state in scoring with 31ppg,and also leading in 3 point fgp at 51.7%. She is 8 in free throw % at 85.7

Very impressive she is one of the top players in the state for sure. The 14th region has several girls in the top in the state. Hall from perry, Gibson from Owsley, kash from lee. Good job girls

Where did you see this?

It's on KHSAA

And number 1 in transfers. 3 schools in 3 years and parents still live out of district in the same house.

Macie Gibson leading the state in scoring at 31 ppg and rebounding at 17 per game. Great local player. Glad to see mountain players getting the recognition that Is well deserved for all the hard work.

Not going to listen to any of this negative stuff about kids who work hard to accomplish their dreams. I don't know if it's jealousy or just mean spirited or what but I'm not going to listen to it

Profitt and Gibson tied in ppg... Welcome to the Mountains!!

Sorry about leaving Gibson out she has the same point average. I think Proffitt is listed first because they are averaging 12 games for her and only 8 for Gibson. I would never take anything away from her she is a special player

You have no clue what you are talking about. Be happy for these kids

We have great talent in the mountains and everyone should be proud of these girls because they have a chance to move on and play college ball and get a great education , why so negative ???????

Doesn't matter where she had been....she is putting up numbers that make her #1. Seems like you're just a hater. Gibson & Profitt are #1 for a reason. Let's revisit this in a couple weeks. K?

She's a good player just makes you wonder why she keeps changing schools every year

Any school would be lucky to have that girl she is special player. I wish she wouldve moved to Pike Central district

I coached Lindsey in middle school. She is a great kid and a very good player! Why not support all of the talent in this state instead of making negative remarks? Get out watch some other teams that are not your local team and enjoy watching how far girls basketball has come over the years.

I think Jackson would have been a team to be reckoned with until all the injuries but against wolfe the other night they had 2 of their players back but the McIntosh girl and they really played exceptionally well. The Turner girls has a double double in what ever game she plays. Trent isn't no slacker either, she had at least 18 points the other night, she handle ball well and also has a nice shot. The other three starters they put on the floor really go after the ball. They really play team ball. I think by district time this team will be hard to contend with. That Coach Neace is turning this program around for the better.

The girls mentioned above that I've seen play are very deserving of any recognition they receive but all this transfer stuff is just wrong

I would guess that she wanted more shots than what she got at Shelby Valley in order to have better scholarship offers. They play exceptional team ball. And she left JBS in order to win more and get the scoring opportunities. Girl is a good player not hatin at all
Just stating the obvious

Pre season no longer matters FatPat, it's January.. this is FACT. Not fiction.

I heard coach Rowe said he would not be coaching her Sophomore season and she decided to move, then he decided to continue coaching.
As for JBS, I think the tuition was just too much and they had a place in Perry.

So before you just ass-u-me, talk to her family and get some facts, like I did.

Unfortunately Mr. BFTH, I feel strongly that most of these people commenting on Lindsey have never watched her, don't know her, nor her family. Probably long time haters of PCC, the coach, and haters of those who succeed. That separates winners. AND Miss.Lindsey is a WINNER.
I would love to see her continue her game at the next level. I am a PCC alum, played ball at PCC, glad she came, know she was welcomed with open arms, and I know my girls have a wonderful role model to follow.
