I believe that Jim played on the Western Kentucky team that went to the final four. He was a starter for them and a pretty good player. That was when they had 7 footer Jim McDaniels. I think this is correct.

They beat Adolph Rupp and the Widcats in the Regional finals- Rose, McDaniels, and a kid named Clarence Glover- Sometime in the early 70's

I think that was Mike Casey's senior year at UK after he came back from a broken leg. Glover seems like went to Boston in the draft.
