Johnson Central vs. Magoffin County - 57th District Championship
#1
JC plays Magoffin County on Thursday for the 57th district title.

JC and Magoffin played three times in the regular season....
JC leads 2-1.

Both teams move on to the 15th Region.

Sorry to inform you, but MC pulled out the win on this one. Jazzy Howard was a rebounding machine tonight, and one of the toughest players I have seen play for her size. JC was out played, out coached, out cheered, and out danced tonight. I don't say that often because I believe Darren Rice is one of the best girls coach I have seen. MC just wanted it more and it showed in the way they played. Great win for the Lady Hornets. Congrats to the district champs!

Does't matter as far as regional play is concerned SV will dominant the tournament this year, you can bank on that. Rowe knows he has best team and future is bright for years ahead. That's why he stayed! You don't leave a team like that to just anyone.

With the All-Time "Most Paintsville" move in history.... the game using a Boys Basketball and had to be switched to a Girls Basketball.

Magoffin County played better than JC did.

Unforced turnovers, cold shooting and getting killed on the rebounds by JC was too much for a Magoffin County team who came to play.

Magoffin County, I will say, your dance routine was incredible.
The music, the outfits, the routine..... it was perfect for the 57th district. Nobody else in the world could have pulled that off.

I don't know about that. I've seen MC play several times this year, and never seen them play the way they did last night. If MC comes to the Expo and wants it bad enough, they will be tough to beat. If they both make it that far, it should be one heck of a game.

When did this happen? I heard there was an issue with the Sheldon Clark Cheerleaders too. Paintsville is just not equipped to handle the district tournament. Their facility is entirely to small. That gym had to be at capacity last night. People were standing in the hallway trying to watch the game, and it was a girls game. More people show up to boys games. So tonight people better get there early if they want a seat. That's just my opinion though.

Yep....that's it. It was done on purpose. ....LMFAO. Hey Pulp. Grow up. It was an honest mistake. I was the score keeper. The ball was on the table when I got there. I didn't even look at it. The officials checked it before and they didn't even notice. So if anyone is to blame it's them. It was just a simple error that has happened in EVERY GYM in the state. Even at JC.

I knew when I saw both teams Air Ball a bunch of their opening shots that either the ball was flat or it was a Boys Ball.

Ah come on OTH..... just messin' around.
