Perry Central 64 Hazard 56
#1
Probably the worst officiated game I've seen all year.
#2
But congrats to my alma mater in a good win
#3
I thought it was one of the best officiated games of the year. This veteran crew is as honest as they come folks. They are human and of course miss a few but they are honest fellows and I respect that.
#4
Here's the bottom line my friend. It's been a very long time since Hazard beat the old wizard at PCC. I actually thought he was going to call it quits last year but these two 8th graders have brought out his old fire. His intensity is back at 200%. Win or lose he loves these kids.
#5
The Lady Bulldogs had a fine season and they have some super talented young kids. Good luck next year to a fine group of kids. And I have to say that Britta Maggard is the most beautiful coach in the state of Ky. Wow!
#6
How do u think that was the best officiated game? The crew missed obvious fouls both ways and the intentional foul that was called was aweful.
#7
Congratulations Dores. They don't call him the wizard for nothing. The truth is out there. Brother Cecil.
#8
Who calls him the Wizard? First time I heard that one before.
#9
Just curious, how many of his players has the Wizard sent on to play College ball? Now lets not include Kendell Noble and Katelyn Smith who were already accomplished and developed before they came to Perry Central who I may note are doing great and have had awesome college careers. I know he has about 1000 wins and that's remarkable. Just wondering how many kids hes had to go on and play at the next level. I would say a bunch considering hes won so many games.

what is he going to do when one of them will not be there next year.
#11
To answer your question CJ, I would say he will continue doing what he normally does. He will play about 30 games and win a few and lose a few. Don't think he is going to beg anyone to stay. You do remember, sometimes kids just drop out of the sky at Perry Central. Rumor has it, his buddy Steve Hall has a couple girls coming down to help out THE SITUATION. Personally I don't see why the kid you are talking about just doesn't go on up there and put her uniform on. Sounds a little selfish to me. Maybe if you guys would of had her on your team, you might of won. Ever wonder why she isn't already there???? Maybe someone else is getting led on................. I don't know, don't care. Randy will keep on coaching and keep on winning and losing games. Life goes on.

Congrats to Dores

Bulldog, the Wizard has sent more kids to college on a scholarship than any coach ever in the 14th region. Some of them on your own bench.

I seen the girls mouth , it was busted bad!!
#15
Rankin girl got scholarship to morehead, but did not go!
#16
Evans kids play college ball
#17
I'am sure if u r starting an shooting as many shots as she wants an winning is going anywhere!
#18
Hes been coaching 35 years Paprazzi. Lets see some names of some that actually went and played. Rankin didnt play. Kristie Miller did. Im not good with names. Evans is playin at ALC and doin well. Id just like to know how many.

Sturgill may be coming to Bulldog country, but Hall's family is too smart to leave PCC. That would be a foolish mistake for her personal development.
#20
Looks like RW Combs and Viper have been feeder schools for Lady Bulldogs the past 5-10 years. They are gonna need Sturgill if they are going to even compete with what will be falling out of the sky come May down at PCC. Would been nice to watch Caudill, Hall, and Sturgill all together on the same team but I guess theres not enough basketballs to go around to keep their point averages up. I for one could care less about scoring. Winners is what people remember. They brag on the scorerers for a while then they forget. (Unless your Whitney Creech) The teams with the State Titles are the ones remembered. Those three girls need to be playing together. Best three grade school girls I have saw in a long long time. And Caudill to be as young as she is, is just remarkable. Could be a 6th grader.

The asst. coach on his bread delivery run told my friend at the store that he would be the head coach, and the PCC girl was definitely coming. He said Brashear couldn't coach and parents didn't like him. Just curious how many years the PCC girl has been held back because I don't think she can hold a candle to our own Patriot Jada Higgins the same age who wasn't held back.
#22
Of course you feel that way, your from Knott County. Both 8th graders at PCC have stayed back one year. So Im guessing 14 or 15. Ah, who won the first meeting of the year between Knott and PCC and whats the record the past 10 years between the two teams?
#23
Can't wait to see them meet again in region, and then see who will be going to state and who will be crying. I am guessing PCC has the best record because Knott doesn't recruit and didn't have Rankin. What is the record?
#24
Well Rankin was homegrown baby straight outta Gorman Hollow. Don't think they had any recruits that played earlier in the year. Higgins from Letcher County isn't she?
#25
This a Perry-Hazard thread anyway. Good luck to the Lady Patriots. Honeycuts a dang good guy and a great coach. You all have a heck of a team this year.

Harold is not going anywhere and the assistant is not going to be coaching. If he would quit trying to tell everyone what they need to do these 3 kids would all be together. At PCC! No one can get along with this guy. And sturgill is not going anywhere.
#27
You got that right! Who's still playing an who's watching tonight!!
#28
Didn't know you had to be from Perry co. To post on this thread but KCC won't let their guard down if they face PCC or Leslie again KCC played horrible and only lost by 1 to the dore's. I could be wrong but IMHO KCC has the best team, but PCC's holdbacks have had a good year. But when a big owl lands at KCC next year it won't matter what falls out of the sky in Perry Co. KCC will be very hard to beat for the next 2 years.

While everyone is comparing these 3 girls. Just remember that the Caudill girl is in the 7th grade, never been held back, and is 2 years younger than the other two.

I don't think you have to be from anywhere good fellow. Outer space is accepted here. I have said all along that Knott was and should be the best team. But I don't think they will win the region because they are not a good road team. I honestly think that PCC or Leslie will win the region. PCC has now beaten every team in the region but Powell.
