#3
Congrats to Cordia. Huge win for School and the Area.
#4
Great job
#5
Way to go Cordia congratulations way to represent the mountains.
#6
Congrats to the players and Rod. Got some good wins. To bad they can't play in the tournaments that matter. It would be them vs PCC in the region finals for sure. Perry's outside game vs Cordia's inside. Would be fun to watch
#7
Sad day for Kentucky high school boy's basketball.
#8
Big win! If Rod stays around, it could mean bad news for the rest of the 14th.

You mean it's sad that a small Eastern Kentucky school decided to do the same thing schools in Louisville/Lexington have done for years?
#10
How many kids from the NCC team Cordia beat were "homegrown".
#11
How many of Cordia's players will be back next year and are there any players sitting out this year that will be eligible next year?
#12
Congrats to Cordia High School. It's taken nearly sixty years for a team from Knott County to return home with a state championship.
#13
Rodrick Rhodes = Morton Combs

Congrats to Cordia. What is the difference between Cordia and New Cath or UHA

I don't know the difference in these three but the difference in Cordia and all the other 14th region teams is that all Cordias players are from somewhere else.

You sound just like the ones on the middle school threads crying about hold backs.

Typically Cordia looks a lot different every year.

They're talented and competitive, but I'd say the rotation looks completely different next year.

But tobler, paige, and Johnson weren't from somewhere else. But I guess that's different. I'm a hazard fan, and we have 3 players from somewhere else.

Recruiting is recruiting. Doesn't matter if the players are from Kentucky or somewhere else. My question is why do people view it as different because Cordia has players from outside the state, than a team who recruits players from a different school within there area?

There is not one school in Louisville/Lexington doing what cordia is doing!!! Your smarter than that zaga!!!

Name one school in Louisville/Lexington that has one house where most of their boys basketball team lives? Name one school in Louisville/Lexington that most of their players parents live in another state or country? I could go on!

Louisville, Lexington, norhtern Kentucky and a small school in western Ky have all had players transfer to there schools over the years. The only difference is none of those schools had dorms on campus for their new players to live in while their parents stayed in a different state.

And here is your answer, cordia is housing most of their players in a house sitting on a hill above the school! These players do not live with their parents, they are housed, clothed and fed by tax payers of Kentucky! There is not another school in the state of Kentucky that is allowed to house, cloth and feed their boys basketball team.

Kentuckyfan35 you are wrong about nearly everything you just posted.

Hey y'all give credit where credit is due. Congrats! to the lions. Last season all of you guys where tooting KCC's horn, Justice originally from Pike County, Combs from Cordia, and Caudill from Letcher County and they did not get past the 1st round in the sweet sixteen. Cordia's players maybe from out of state, but the can ball, they have proven it.
#29
Cordia only has an enrollment in high school of 76 students if they didn't have some players come from other places we wouldn't even have a basketball team
