15th Region Top 10

Not a lot of talk going on about the 15th seeing as Lawrence is the heavy favorite but figured I'd give a top 10 a shot.

2. Shelby Valley
3. Johnson Central
4. Magoffin County
5. East Ridge
6. Pike Central
7. Pikeville
8. Paintsville
9. Sheldon Clark
10. Betsy Layne

I've only seen three of those teams play, so the only thing I know is that Lawrence Co is strong, and really feisty. They are a fun team to watch.

Allen Central should be on there somewhere, 9th or 10th probably. They're 2-1 against ER and beat BL without their leading scorer. The loss to Pike Central was without their leading scorer.

Have to agree with BillSelf Allen Central should be at 10 and probably switch Pikeville and Paintsville

South Floyd is dangerous in this region. They will make some noise at tourney time.

agreed! I think SF is better than half the teams on this list and can beat any of them except LC...

Although it was earlier in the season, Allen Central beat SF @SF and was ahead 20+ at one point. (Be it without Ousley who's playing now, not sure if JR Tackett will be back this season or not)

LC is the front runner for sure, but anything can happen. SV, JC and Magoffin can get hot, all it takes is that one loss at the wrong time.

If SF can get full strength or close to it come tourney time, they'll be tough to beat.

If you're referring to Seth Hall, the PC game was his first game back.

I have seen everyone in the 15th Region play with the exception of Piarist and Phelps....
Outside of four or five teams it doesn't matter the rankings because anyone can beat the other on any given night!

I will post the 8 teams I think will make it to the Expo Center for the Region Tournament:With the order I think who have the best chance.
