Pineville isn't a powerhouse, but they're not a bad team either. They have a very good center in 6'6 Day, and a good guard in Strange, the coaches son. Still JBS shouldn't have much trouble with them.
As far as who JBS plays in this tournament, I don't think that's their choice. And how can you make fun of their schedule? Haven't they played Mason County, Lexington Catholic, Knott Central, Pendleton County.....? They have some weak sisters on their schedule, like all schools do, but you can't expect a school with less than 100 students to play Mason County 6 times a year.

How many teams with a winning record has JBS played. And do not think that the Stepp brothers did not influence the wymt pairings, or they wouldn't have played in it.

why did Pineville get invited to the tourney??? i thought this was for the BEST teams in the mountains and although they are a good team they are not one of the BEST!!

jbs is a very good team and will without a doubt win. jbs can win this tournament and i believe will make a very strong showing. all the talk of them being overrated is not accurate, they are a legitimate top 5 or 6 team in the mountain area and have a very good chance of winning the tournament. shelby valley is the best team in it by a little over bell, jbs and hazard, any of the 4 having a shot to win

You're not a very smart Doctor are you? But then again you're a JBS fan. JBS cannot win this tounament and will be playing for 5th place. This will be the first mountain competition for them thus far and you're about to see just how good they really are. Please don't practice anymore medicine, Doctor.

Get off your JBS high-horse. Less than a 100 students may work for an analysis of Riverside, but not a team that recruits players. It makes it a lot easier to win that way, so please don't use that logic. Just look a Universtiy Heights, they've accomplished a lot for a school of less than 100.

hey there obvious hazard fan, i guess you dont know or you choose to forget that jbs beat hazard in the semifinals of the state aau tournament last summmer. i am not a jbs fan, but i do like their team and believe they have a class program, and i do believe they have a shot at winning this tournament. your bulldogs imo and a lot of folks opinion will not beat shelby valley in the first round. also, just in case you dont believe sv is for real you are in for a rude awakening, they are an exceptional team and will be for the next 3 years

actually i see that you are a knott county central fan and probably dont like jbs because they have some kids that could be playing for kcc. get over it, they have a good group of young men and represent mountain basketball very well
