Not sure how anyone who got a running clock put on them in the 2nd qtr qualifies as Big Boy football but I guess that's subjective.

Southwestern #1? :lmao: Southwestern is not even a top 5 mountain team. Bourbon County beat them and Paintsville rolled over Bourbon. Paintsville has a great 1A team, but they would be no match for Johnson Central or Belfry. Southwestern might do fairly well in the playoffs this season - if they were eligible to play in the 1A playoffs. Confused

I think Shelby valley would land at the 9 spot hazard or somerset at 10. Pulaski would be in at number 4

This list is crazy! First off, SW was beat by Bourbon County who was smacked around by Paintsville, who beat Pikeville in a really even game, who was beat soundly by Belfry! I believe I'm safe in saying most believe Johnson Central will beat Belfry. Pulaski might very well be number one but for me at least, it's hard to compare them to others on this list. For now I would say...

1. Johnson Central
2. Pulaski County
3. Belfry
4. North Laurel
5. Paintsville
6. Pikeville
7. Southwestern
8. Corbin
9. Bell County
10. Lawrence County

The final spot could be Lawrence or Knox. Shelby Valley hasn't done anything impressive to even be considered.

No way Shelby Valley should be ahead of Pikeville. If you have Paintsville at #6 then Pikeville should be #7 because they are the two most evenly matched teams around.

After seeing Lawrence county play, I think they are a few scores better then Shelby valley. That would put out of the top 10

Shelby Valley is legit. If they play the way they played Friday on Offense, they'd beat half the teams on that list. Every play was the right play.

UK#24 you know Southwestern beat Corbin at Corbin? I know there is a lot of hate towards them because of Jim Rome, but he is just on here having a good time watching everyone get worked up over his wild predictions. I have a feeling he knows a little football but would rather see everyone get worked up than give his real opinion.

You are right, I love how so many take this site so seriously. People need to lighten up, they will live longer. My Mountain Top 10 in all seriousness is #1 South Western due to their coach, their record, and their strength of schedule I feel they deserve it. #2 Johnson Central due to their strong ground game, and with the win over Lex. Cath. they showed they capable of defending the pass. #3 Pulaski if they beat South Western convincingly I will gladly flip flop them with the Warriors. #4 Paintsville with the Tim Tebow like Daniels kid, how can you not love this story. #5 North Laurel only because their undefeated, not 100% sold on this team yet, but it's obvious they are pretty good. #6 Belfry just because their Belfry, they could very easily fall out of my top 10 if JC steam rolls them. #7 thru #10 is how ever you see it Pikeville, Bell County, Shelby Valley, Corbin, Hazard, Somerset, just to name a few.
