Final from Ohio.

What happened? I've heard Coal Groove is young and not very good.

About the time I think Fairview is starting to play well.

The former Fairview transfers, McKnight and Dolen, get the last laugh on their old squad. A confident Paintsville team comes to Westwood next week.

McKnight still playing? Figured he graduated last year fromIronton.

One McKnight did graduate from Ironton last year. This is a younger McKnight who plays for Coal Grove now. Both Mcknights played for Fairview a few seasons ago when they were loaded.

Wrong . I heard that also , but they were pretty good . Best team Fairview has played so far .I will say this though Fairview started to run away with it , but then the Ohio zebras decided they couldn't let that happen . Unreal

I told you on the pregame thread that you're down 14-0 when when the coin is tossed most of the time you travel across the river to play. I'm a Raceland fan for sure, but I was pulling for the Eagles in this game. Got nothing for CG, usually very unsportsmanlike and definitely got nothing for referees changing the outcome of a game.

They were very good team . They definitely are not a bad team , BUT I meant to say they were the most physical team we've played so far not the overall best team . Sorry for my mistake

Shocked at this score. CG only managed on score against Portsmouth West. What kind of night did Dolen have? Always liked that kids style of running. Hate to see the stripes and their yellow garbage take a win away from the Eagles, Raceland delt with that a few years ago. Managed to win the ball game, but a few kids got hurt and another suspended due to the officiating.

We had a kid get ejected tonight but to be honest I think he may have deserved it because he let his temper & mouth get away from him.

special teams for Fairview needs a major overhaul. why in the world are we kicking it deep to their best skill people? why? my god. kicker kept booming it to them, right to them in their waiting arms. and having freshman and sophomore's playing on kickoff. get real. and Fairview has offensive lineman standing around over on sidelines in second half and should have been used some on defense. play both ways boys! when your capable there is no excuse
10-03-2015, 05:22 PM
Play both ways just like you did in HS Scrappy? Lol
10-03-2015, 05:25 PM
Mr. Washington had his head up his rear end last night also. And getting tired of same player running his mouth and getting tossed. He wss never called a racial slur. Play the game, shut your mouth. Its easy. When the crowd gets in a players head. Thats the head coaches fault

Hats off to coal grove. They physically whooped Fairview. Im done. on to senior night in westweed

Did he get ejected? If so does it mean he has to sit against Paintsville?
10-03-2015, 07:08 PM
According to KHSAA rules if a player gets ejected they have to sit the next game also unless they changed the rule.

Happened to Raceland 2 years ago playing at Coal Grove, our best running back got ejected and had to sit out the next game against Lawrence Co. which you we lost 38-35.

Eagles got to regroup and get ready for big games next two weeks
