Congrats on the W, I think just about every team has at least one win during the season where it come's from a last second shot wether it be a 2 or 3 point shot

On the radio is was announced that there was a crowd of less than 100 in attendence for the game. Anywho, Matt Thomas drains a 3 with under 30 seconds left in the game to pull the game to a tie. Iroquois drives the court and misses while Ryan Bonner comes up with the rebound and gets fouled with 3 seconds remaining. Bonner makes both free throws for a 2 point lead. Iroquois inbounds and heaves one from around mid court and it sinks for the win. Tough loss for Ashland and congrats to Iroquois for the W. Ashland seems to be getting much more accustomed to the Buddy Biggs system with more time under their belts.

Ashland played fairly well, but in the first half Iroquois had as much as a 10 or so point lead on them. I commend the Tomcats on battling back in the second half to make it a competitve game. They should have won it, but sometimes the close ones get away. But it wasn't like the Tomcats had led the whole game, so they should be proud of the effort in the game and the results of the tourney.
As for the crowd, very low attendance. Maybe 40 people from Ashland? Can't figure that one out (it is no more than an hour drive). But anyway, it is understandable why that the JC and other local people weren't there with it being so close to Christmas and everyone out shopping and with JC out of the tourney. And we wouldn't expect Iroquois to have much of a crowd.
