Harlan County should win this one at home or away. I think this game should be pretty close at halftime second half all BlackBears. I Like both schools
Harlan County 42
Clay County 28
A big Shout out to Qb Will Sexton and WR Wes Wolfe of clay county. 64SUR :Cheerlead

Gonna go with the Black Bears. They will get lined out this week

I know it's early in the season but this is a big game for HC. If they don't win......they go winless this year.

Don't think it's that close. HC wins 35-7

I'm not sure it will be like last year but I don't think it will be all that close either. HC 38-7

Harlan Co. will get things going this week at home. I'm going with HC by 14 points.

This will be a good game for HC to figure out what they want to do this season as far as there offense is concerned.
No better time to figure out who you want where and who shines the most.

Harlan County should have the edge with this being played at home, but I think it will be a very competitive game. The Black Bears got beat up pretty good last week, so they should be a "little hungry" for some redemption. With that being said, it also wouldn't surprise me to see the Tigers pull out the victory on the road. I like both teams, but I feel like the Bears will have the advantage playing at home. Harlan County wins by a score of 24-14. Good luck to both teams.

I know Southwestern is a great team, but the Harlan County offense looked really bad last week. They ran it up and down the field last year against Bryan Station in the opener, even though Bryan Station won big. They weren't able to run against Corbin or Leslie or Southwestern. I think they have to fix that to win Friday.

You're correct. We may have a good defense, but we have to score!!

Clay County, by about 24 on the board.
Tigers 27
Bears 3
Clay wins a shutout if there's no water on the field.

Harlan was up for a while but are down now. Let the rebuild begin. Look for it to be a tough season this year. Harlan County will be lucky to make playoffs this year. But with that said I am predicting Harlan to be beat Clay County.

It was a tough year LAST year, so we know all about not making the play offs. But, this team is really working hard, and they believe in themselves and each other. I'm behind the Black Bear team, if they go winless, but I sure would like to see a victory Friday!!

I'll take Granny' s Black Bears.

Not sure how that was meant, but HC did make the playoffs last year. They lost to Pulaski.

Will the Tigers leave Harlan County alive?
08-28-2015, 03:00 PM
I hope so, but the fighting Leif Erikson's of Rowan was tough, so I am assuming Harlan County will be better.

Believe a lot of teams went through a rough patch last week! We sure did.
