This was looking very promising for the Bobcats in the first half being up 14-0. #2 for Betsy Layne was an absolute work horse and got yards at will and made many great plays on defense. Definitely can tell the Bobcats are extremely young, penalties on top of penalties and they look very much timid at times about what they should do instead of just making a play and asking questions later.

As you know all that including the hesitation will go away with game experience. Game experience is so important. They will be fine.

I agree whole heartedly, they'll bounce back once they get a couple wins under their belt and gain some confidence and have the realization that they belong here and this is what it's all about. They have the athletes and supporting roles around those athletes to do those things but they have to get that experience as you eluded to. Time is a very key component for young teams.

I'm looking forward to see where the coaching staff and players have themselves at the end of the season!

Betsy layne will probably have a good record by the end of the season. It's not hard to win 8-9 games a season when you play middle school teams.
