Um Pikeville is "the Ville" lol But yes, the team's you named will be great competition for Valley, and i'll bet it's one of these team's that give's Valley their first loss

Pikeville, JC & LC! They do not play Paintsville this year.

SV does not play Paintsville or Belfry in the regular season.
You won't see any of these matchups til the 15th region tourney, if they all make it.

I would say you will see Paintsville vs. Shelby Valley in the All "A" championship.

Shelby Valley isn't in the All "A" Tournament this year

I'm guessing they might get their first loss in the Cumberland Falls Invitational or the WYMT classic. In the WYMT they would have to beat Hazard, then probably JBS, and then probably Bell County to win the championship. That's a tough road for any team.

The enrollment qualifications for the All A are not the same as the football qualifications. For example.... Sheldon Clark is participating in this year's All A Classic, but plays in 2A football... The same was the case for Shelby Valley the last couple of years... however, SV apparently no longer qualifies for the All A...

if this is true will they change the basketball all "A" along with the football?

No... the enrollment qualifications for the All A Classic are not determined by the KHSAA...

Maybe by beating these teams, Valley will get the credit they deserve.

Im not for sure if there is a team in the region that will beat Valley especially if they are on but im saying Paintsville would be there toughest competition.

Considering Paintsville isnt on their schedule, are you saying that Shelby Valley wont have any competition in the 15th until the regional tourney?
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It is the size of the fight in the dog.
