When is Putnam putting in Turf?? This would help with the drainage problem, I saw the field on the Kiwanis Bowl,,, well I saw the fish hatchery project for the FFA.... I thought I would need a boat to get to the door.

If any body in this area needs a new field it's SC they needed a new field when this one was new I know I played on it in thier first year of football. A person would think that of all the coal companys that are in Martin Co. that they could build one of the best in the state . I hear about JC new field and that they are getting the money from coal severance my gosh look at the coal that comes out of Martin Co. I bet it's twice has much as Johnson county and look what a coal company did for Belfry they have a nice of a place that any kid could ever want to play in. And thats from coal money . I just feel that SC should have as good of a field as any body in the area if not a better one . I would love to see them get an all new every thing in the very near future and good luck in doing so.

They have needed a new one for the past 20 years! Jim Booth should hook them up. Has anybody heard anything about them moving into the new Warfield Middle School? It is a really nice school! I had heard that rumor once upon a time and just wondered if there was any validity.

I agree. As long as the weather is nice. The field is great to play on, better than most surfaces, but with any inclement weather, it really gets in trouble. They've talked since I was freshmen in school about putting turf down. It really needs it.

SC has one of the worst feilds in the state. I would love to see them get a nice new athletic complex but i don't see it happening. They will mess it up some how. I remind you that the weight room has been in planning since 1998 and just got built this year. I would love to see Jim Booth do somthing for the team but i don't believe hes a football fan. I've never seen him at a game anyways.

Yea..the field is a pile of shit..Id rather burn that piece of shit to the ground than play on that field..its so aweful...have u seen those damn divecks in the freaking ground?...I mean ..Oh my god..and to beat it all its so unlevel and rocky with gravels it cuts the children when it rains..its a piss poor field and I hope to god that someone does somthing over there about it..its a real pain in the ass to have to go over there

This rumor is most definitely true. However, the plans are in the earliest stages of planning. Some good people are trying to get this acomplished. I never heard about the turf though! That would be nice.

I heard this at first, but then I heard, from a teacher at Inez Elementary, that they will be moving to IMS, both middle schools to WMS, and the high school will stay where it is.

Poor field and a good team. Their field is one of the worse I have ever seen but their team is one of the best around. The BOE needs to back them.
