We had completely run out of pitching by the time this one rolled around. With some good weather finally, we had already played and won at Clay Co., South and Knox Central, and beaten Hazard on a neutral field that week. Had to throw jv guys, not a good situation against what I still think is the best Kentucky team we have faced this year, and we have played a really good schedule that has included Madison Central, Male and Ballard, as well as South, Hazard and Southwestern.

north coach told me he had grieble available but didnt want to throw him against sw again. grieble pitched a jewel few weeks ago against sw
