Thus far, which point guard in the 15th region do you think is the best? My vote actually goes to Van Ferguson. When he runs the one spot for The Tigers, they are like a fine-tuned machine. He showed great poise and composure against two of the states top teams. Let's hear what you guys think!!!

I'll vote for Crum at JC!! He is the ultimate floor general for Starns and Co. I can't wait to see the Ferguson kid play. They say he has a solid shot and is very fast! When does the Eagles and the Tigers play each other? That should be great game.

I also vote for Crum. After watching him play Friday he seems to have all the ahtletic and mental tools to run Starnes offense.

i think everyone agrees with justice

Kind of hard to tell, considering some teams havn't even played a regular season game yet.

Jaryd Crum is by far the best point guard in the region followed by Van Fergason.

Van Ferguson-Paintsville

Ferguson of Paintsville!

Crum is nowhere near "by far" the best, he is a top 5 PG.

:dontthink I think he is the best TRUE point guard in the 15th Region!!!Jayrd knows his roll and he does it very proficently.I say true point guard, because he does not step out on the court and try to play every position unlike that bunch at Paintsville.IMO they have to many chiefs and not enough indians as the old saying goes!!! The Ferguson kid has not even played anybody in the 57th District or 15th Region in season play yet.We will see how he does when District and Regional play begins.Spud avg. (16pts.) and (8 ast).along with( 2 steals) a game last year in District and Regional play!!! Just because that GOOBER at WYMT put Van Ferguson at #10 in the 15th Region last night everybody is in awe with him.I will watch him first then decide for myself who is better. The Justice kid from Shelby Valley is right there with Jayrd when it comes to talent level he just needs some more playing time to improve his court awareness and vision!!! Talent is great but one also must posess basketball IQ.The Justice kid will be tops in the 15th in a few years no doubt about it!!

I think Justice is close to the top.

E. Justice from Shelby Valley is the best because his team is unbeaten so far. Every other person listed has losses except for Crum and he isnt as good.
12-05-2006, 12:29 PM
justice

I will stick with what i said at the beginning of the year. I will still stay with Thompson from Lawrence Co. He is a great point guard and really knows the game and if I am not mistaking he had 26 points Saturday when they defeated Jackson County. So keep up the hard work.

I don't think that argument is a good one since Valley hasn't played any competition, however I do believe he is one of the best in the region.

I agree, but Justice needs to pick up his offensive game a little...

Who said anything about anyone at Paintsville, I never picked anyone from Paintsville as the best PG. All I said he wasn't BY FAR the best, I wasn't puttin the kid down, chillout.
12-05-2006, 07:47 PM
I think Justice is probabily the best PG in the region.
12-05-2006, 10:58 PM
I'm gonna go with Crum from JCHS! I haven't seen the Ferguson kid play yet , but I have also heard he is good. I was impressed with the Johnson kid from South Floyd, I guess we will just have to wait and see how they do a little later into the season.
12-05-2006, 11:48 PM
the Johnson kid is not the pg for SF...he is a good shooting guard though...the Cats' Pause has him in the top 5 in the region in top players
12-06-2006, 11:22 AM
Blake Bundy from PHS. He is a Junior and has started point guard for Paintsville since 8th grade.
