Heard the Bears beat WVU Tech 19-8. Musta been a bit windy up there today.
Isn't he a Frosh? Must not know that's impossible.

I know he has the leg for it! He won a game with a 58 yarder earlier this year! HOW DID HE GET OVERLOOKED BY SO MANY KICKERS IN D-1!!!! You can't find any decent kickers anymore it seems like..

He came to Pikeville from WVU. He was a back-up kicker there last year and decided to leave after WVU signed one of the Top 3 kickers in the nation this year. One of Pikeville's coaches is buddies with WVU's head coach, maybe that's how he ended up at Pikeville.

Dang! The NAIA (and "all-levels") record (http://naia.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/spe...05aaf.html) still belongs to Abilene Christian's Ove Johannson, who kicked a 69 yarder back in 1976.
Their local paper is a weekly that comes out on Wed. Today's News-Express had a mention of it : [size=2]http://www.news-expressky.com/articles/2...1bears.txt
