Congratulations!

I did not expect us to score like that. I also didn't expect them to score. The 2 scores they got was after it was all decided though.
Congrats to Trajon Bright. The sophomore broke the Mayfield single season rushing yardage and touchdown records tonight. I still say that he will be the best back in Ky by the time he is a senior. He is worth the price of admission.

So you want credit for being wrong. Mayfield did not cover the 37, but since im a reasonable man ill go ahead, and say you were on the right track. Had them down 35 to 0, and looked like mayfield kinda lost interest at that point.

That is impressive considering Mayfield's history of running backs. Who had the record that he broke? I really wish there was a way to include lineman and allow them to be recognized for these type of awards as well.

I think one of the records he broke belonged to his dad.

Haha! That would be great. Good for him. Will he be a division 1 player by the time he graduates?
11-22-2014, 09:26 PM
Yes. I think he will be Mr Football his senior year. That is if people in Ky start looking past how big of a school a kid plays for to win it. His dad was runner up his senior year. The kid has the uncanny ability to contort his body in many different directions to continue to go forward. I hope wpsd does a highlight reel of his runs at the end of the year. It will make people freak out. Just the McCracken game alone was a highlight reel.

I'm a little biased, but even as a sophomore I can't think of many backs better than him right now not named Damian Harris.
11-22-2014, 09:32 PM
And, he is just 15.
11-22-2014, 09:38 PM
My favorite run was the last run of around 65 when he took off I told the guy next to me cocoa darden will catch him, to my surprise trajon housed it. Trajons I scary taking off, but I have felt his top gear isn't as great, but it seems to me he has gotten more top speed, keep in mind darden is a 4.5 40 kid according to the cats pause, and is being recruited by eastern ky.
11-22-2014, 09:42 PM
And he made ground on Darden. The funny thing is, he wouldn't push himself in the weight room this year. If he had, well could you imagine. I know the increases my son made in 1 year, if he had done that, he probably would have another 400 yards this year. After contact yards that is.

What about Massey? I've not seen him so I have no clue, but I'm asking because of what I know I'll hear from the other side.

Of course, he plays for the world beater honey bees, so you know he has to be better than Bright. If we get a shot at the honey bees, he will not have 100 yards. I am certain of that.

May field held crider to 93 yards on around 30 carries, if this match up were to happen I'm quite certain the cards d would keep him in check, and bright would be the one with more yards by a good bit. The burg would have to get the passing game going.

Anyways no reason to compare when its highly possible this game won't happen.
11-22-2014, 11:56 PM
I don't know about highly possible.

I just think beechwood is really good, and think race land is solid as well.

Monster matchup next week in Ft. Mitchell!

Here's something people are missing. Last year a good Frankfort team knocked the Tigers out by 2 touchdowns. Mayfield clubbed that same Frankfort team by 4 touchdowns. That is a 6 touchdown difference between the Tigers and the Cards. The Cards have at least 6 of their major contributors back. Do you really think there is a 6 touchdown difference this year?
