Game was canceled because Highlands has a 5 hour bus ride and alot of injuries. But yet every Highlands fan brags about 100 plus kids and how they develope kids. So out of those 100 kids I would 30 to 40 don't even touch the field Friday night and could have played in the JV game. Oh yea Highlands fans ripped CovCath last year for canceling JV games last year.

The difference is that Highlands rarely cancels a JV game. Cov Cath, New Cath, etc. do it all the time.

Long trip? Don't schedule it in the first place if that is the reason. Which I am sure it is not.

Shouldn't take that long from Fort Thomas to Georgetown. Google maps says 1 hour 25 minutes. leave at 4 should get the game started by 630. game be over by 8 :30 should be home before 10:30

the 5 hour bus ride is to Bowling Green Friday I think..
Highlands JV is probably not scared.... they've played Elder and Cin St Xavier
JV Games are canceled all the time... usually the other way around for Highlands.
Highlands is pretty banged up right now so a lot JV guys are going to be stepping up this week and through the playoffs.

Using Highlands is banged excuse is lame so basically Highlands has 100 plus kids but only 50 really only touch the field? Shame on Highlands!

Maybe if SK cancelled a JV game or two their varsity could beat a good team. You are so hung up on Highlands it is unbelievable. I could see you caring about this if you were a Scott Co fan but you are a fan of a big 6A school.
and by the way, Highlands fans didn't rip CovCath last year until after they cancelled 2 JV games while they played two other teams.

Did Highlands fans say anything about CC cancelling last year? I don't remember.
Isn't it impressive that the Birds use charter buses?

We're talking about JV.... Maybe that's been SK's problem all these years.... too much emphasis on JV?

From Fort Thomas to Georgetown is not much more than 1 hour, even in a school bus.

Who cares? It's playoff time and everyone should be saving all their healthy bodies, including the JV/ freshman roster. This subject is no issue, I'm sure Scott Co didn't mind the cancellation and it saved up some money too.
