Pulaski survives the Jungle. Held scoreless in the 2nd half. 14-12 Final.

Closest any team has played them this year. I knew NL was the real deal!

Looks like this was a good one

Sounds North gave them more than they wanted

The only thing North lacks from being an elite squad is the fact that they don't have a playmaker like they had last year. When this team played knox I knew they were good.

Jags almost pulled off the upset of the year!!!wow!!

The personnel is there for NL, we saw that in person tonight. They should have won this game! The big play never got called????!!!!! Radio guy said they had lost 3 games by 7 pts! The right kids aren't being utilized in the right way is what we saw. Three guys not associated with this team in any way sitting in the stands figured it out in one half. Surely the coaches will see it after they watch the film this week???!!!!
10-04-2014, 06:12 AM
Wow. Closer than many expected.
10-04-2014, 07:04 AM
They are just saving themselves for next weeks big game on ESPN. Do you think they will still air the game, if Harris isn't playing? I hope so.

Would have been a great game to be at sounds like

North just about beat the best team in the area. Pulaski is very good this year and will be back in bowling green and you say north isn't playing the right kids, you all just about won the biggest game of the year and you complain. I can remember when north was the worst team around. Now you win games and start getting good and act like you know all. you all sound like my co workers

Sounds like North needs a dependable placekicker. It makes all the difference in games THIS close.
But GREAT game, in any case !!

Actually North has one of the better place kickers in the state in Keaton Kennedy, who has kicked 25 field goals in his career, including two last night, one from 40+ on a sloppy field. That accounted for North's first six points, so when they scored late they had no choice but to go for two. With the results of the last two weeks, maybe what they need is a better two-point play!

Heard Pulaski had a drive in late 2nd qtr that they fumbled on goal line, literally goal line, and went for touchback.
To start 3rd quarter Pulaski has another good drive, around 20 plays to goal line, inches away, and got two penalties that set them back.
Sounds like it was a good game! Happy to hear no one got hurt (that I know of) in what seemed to be some wet/rainy conditions

NL showing to be much improved. Could be an interesting playoffs in this region. The sister district is awful, funny don't hear about a sweep from them anymore.

North's kicker can really drive the ball. He has an extremely strong leg. I would take him against any kicker in the state sight unseen and come out 99% of the time.

Pulaski, SW, Madison Southern and North is a pretty good district. They may sweep first round.

North Laurel is a good team, and one thing this game does is it shows how good southwestern is also. North Laurel could very easily be a one loss team at this point?

North Laurel is getting better and better, and I am not A Jhonny come lately, they are for real.

What I was saying with just a tweak or two on that NL team & they could WIN, vs playing teams close. I don't have a dog in that fight, I am not even from there, some friends & I went to that game last night & that was what we thought we figured out by half time. =) I am sure the coaches will figure it out too. NL & SW, could be spoilers this year, for sure - I am happy for the team. I have an associate who has a son that plays for NL, he had been saying they were improved from the beginning of the season, and I have to agree with him now.

Radio announcer we were listening to last night coming home said NL had lost 3 games by 7 pts.

Wow, congrats on the win Maroons!! Sounds like a great game, too.

North Laurel is a very good football team and is going to make it very far inThe playoffs Pulaski had three starters out in this game and I had two touchdowns that wasn't called and a lot of penalties in crucial drive But as far as North Laurel coaching staff they came up with a good game plan to win the game hats off to them

I think after seeing NL in person last night, they are going to be hard to handle coming up some of these games they have left. Someone pointed out to us last night there were several freshmen playing in that game in certain spots etc. grief, if those kids have anything to go along with them, they are going to be tuff in London, KY. for several more years looks like.

Harris would have probably scored 2 or more tds and 100 or more yards in that 2nd half had he been playing. Everyone knows that but nevertheless..good win for the Warriors.

How can you not take the Warriors seriously? Before Harris got injured they were still handling him better than anyone else has this season and leading the game. You all have to quit acting like these Maroons are some untouchable team.
