McCreary must get out of the District!
#1
After the score Friday night! Easy decision , McCreary must get out of the district, or start boys soccer.
#2
Their coach needs to perhaps find easier teams to schedule. If at all possible. Put teams like Jelico and Jenkins on there. Morale boosters. If they aren't already scheduled, that is.
#3
I don't know why they go through this every season.
#4
Wayne, Bell and Corbin make this a monster district. Who will they be in with when they redistrict next year?
#5
No idea but anything is better than what they're fixing to go through.
#6
District is much better for McCreary next year: KHSAA has McCreary , Casey co, Bell Co , Jackson Co. and Corbin.. Out of district is where they need to focus on: Clinton Co, Knott Co, Berea,
#7
thats a little better but not much. Jackson county is building a steady program and Casey county has surprised a lot of people this year. They certainly surprised me.

With the above statement being said. Just confirms what I am saying. They can't beat any of the teams in next year district either. Either get out of district or play soccer.

In High School, football is designed to teach character, work ethic, discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, etc. These things can be accomplished even in losing efforts. I respect McCreary players going out every week and working hard in practice and preparing for a Friday night battle. I would like to see them on the winning end of some of these efforts but, if they keep working hard in practice and work hard in the off season, they will surprise someone eventually.

they lost 19 district games in row in the overall 23 game losing streak they are 0-9 ben out scored by dist opp 64 to 530

good words you speak a lot of truth but when you are so bad for so long many of these lessons are lost and kids tune out coach. principal need to do something 18-65 to casey and it was 0-61 last yr to casey that is so sad no disrespect to casey co. i never seen so many disapointed people than at homecoing this year we just cant believe it so sad to see teenager boys go through this with no hope in sight

no one bashing kids bashing bashing the adults who allow our kids to go throgh this and not change anything my sons played here and u cant imagine the feeling of seeing kids so dejected week after week for years on end and noone demands anything or better

Spend some money and go hire a great coach and COACHING staff!!!
Proven Coach!!!!!
#16
Build a football stadium that the kids can be proud of.. MC has the worst field in state!!
It will cost money.. Just like starting a business!!
#17
Good luck getting a proven coach to mccreary. I'd like to see Phil Russell end up there.
#18
Guys, the coach is not the problem. I don't understand why in programs like these everyone wants to change coaches every couple years. The problem lies above the coach, there is no backing or support there. If you want a good program, that must be changed.

You could put commonwealth stadium at MC they would not win anymore games this year.

Only chance get out of the district for two years or play soccer.

Boss Eric and Bankers Bank. If the school board knew you two were on here bashing and talking like this your tenure would not save you two clowns. Let me remind you that you two jokers only won two basketball games last year.
#21
this thread makes it obvious what is wrong with McCreary County football. too many drama queens constantly gossiping like old women.
#22
If u decide to pull out of district play, u are obviously not eligible for the playoffs and the rule used to be that u had to sit out 4 years if the administration decided to pull oiut. It could have changed. Mabey someone can check it out on the KHSAA website. If it is the same, a freshman could come in and play all 4 of his years and NEVER be eligible for the playoffs. I know someone will say that they arent making the playoffs anyway, but they have the opportunity now.....they have a goal to play for. 4 years is a lomg time.

If anyone can prove to me that these 2 work for the McCreary School System I will put every negative post they have made in the local paper. That is a promise!!!Confusednicker:Confusednicker:

What happened to the good little player Mccreary had a few years back? I think he was a Watts?

Did he end up going to college anywhere or playing anywhere? He single handedly won more games for Mccreary than they probably have in the past 4 or 5 seasons.

Aaron signed with Morehead to play Baseball, didn't work out came home went to Cumberland to play Basketball it didn't work out. He went to Lineman School and works for a power company. He has a wife and 2 kids. Aaron would be the first to tell you he didn't win those games by himself. Had a Running Back on that team named Zack Roark that rushed for 1200 yards. 5Lineman in front of him 2 good receivers in Dustin Stephens and Dustin Goins.
#27
Roark was awesome on defense. He killed us.

McCreary has some talent in the freshman class. I would hate to know those kids wouldn't get to try to make the playoffs the next 3 years.
#28
Roark was a horse. That was a solid team. I heard good things about last years 8th grade bunch. Maybe these kids can turn it around. How is McCreary's 8th grade team playing this year?

What offense do they try to run
