Fairview 40 East Ridge 6
#1
final

Good win by the Eagles but not a big surprise. At home against a team that matched up terribly with Fairview so the Eagles pretty much done what they should have.

We will see how real Fairview is in a few weeks
#4
Step up in competition starting next week

Ram-A Devil and Bgrfan12. You people are a joke. Always trashing the Wood. Coach Ray didn't make the schedule and he is doing the best he can with what he has inherited at Fairview. We lost some really good players last year, a few to graduation but a lot via transferring. So if we get beat by Raceland, so what. ESPN, you had your chance and you blew it. Better load up on your meds.

This is what we lost from last year. They would start on any team in our area.

RB/LB Tanner Dolen, FB/LB Armonde Yetts, RB/CB Kurtlen Brown, RB/WR/ CB Isaiah King, WR/FS Fred Hightower, C Goble ( cant remember his 1st name), LB Goble ( the other Goble Brother), DE / TE Caleb McNight, TE / WR/DE Logan Thovson, CB/RB Jalen Thomas, OL/DL Anthony Roark, OL/DL Tanner Young, OL/DL Cody McPeek, DL Fitchpatrick
DE/DL Chris Perkins

On a side note, forget the lopsided score last night. The kids for Homecoming looked amazing. BITW !

Talon lead me to believe that Brown and King would be back to play, sometime this season. It's a shame if they aren't, because both of them have talents you can't coach.

King will be back , & 1st game eligible to play in will be against Raceland , Brown's status however is iffy , & up in the air at this point .

Congrats to Fairview. Adding players for Raceland should make it interresting.
