I think Southwestern gets the Win.
That's a pretty solid football team and to be honest it is a bit unfair they have to play in their district when I have no doubt they would win the opposite district.
Think this is a pretty competitive game but too much Doan.
SW by 14+

Williamsburg steamrolled us last week, but I'm pretty sure you'll find they would do that to most they play. Other than that... We lost two games by a td or less against Garrard who sw had a competitive scrimmage and North Laurel who will compete in that district.
I call this one a push. Both teams played superior opponents last week and will be hungry.

Karma I don't think Cinderella run is accurate in any way, shape or form. Ask people that know before last year the 2012 team played Central's tail off and could've also made it to Bowling Green. 34-9 the past four seasons was NOT done with smoke and mirrors. Losing 14-7 and 23-21 is far from man-handled, last week was a big mismatch, but this team is not awful.
Now onto this matchup a healthy Wayne is a push with an improved SW, but WC is not healthy, so Warriors have to be the favorites. Should be a good game.

I do agree. The season isn't over. But, if you were to look at the remaining games. It doesn't look good. Every team will put up some good seasons. But statistics show that they are not a high quality team. The coaches have done very well. The yrs before wasn't that great. And they are falling back down to the lower teams in the district.

Hate to say this but I bet Wayne will finish in the same position or higher than southwestern in district play.

I agree with you 64. They are better than given credit. A 3 point loss to a very good Corbin team on the road, and Belfry would do the same or worse to any team in 3A this year as they did to SW.

North Hardin is better this year but their record is 2-13 in last 2 yrs.

This year is all that matters and it is clear North Hardin is a solid win and a better team than Monroe County
If the qualification for a quality win is the past two years though.. and this year doesn't matter... then Somerset then becomes a better win than Monroe County.

Iagree this yr is all that matters and NH has 1 win. Same amount as all of Rockcastle teams they have beat.

Truth is this years team is not better than last years Southwestern Team. Last years team would of had the same record with this schedule. They will beat the bad teams and showboat while doing it. That is the who they are. The good teams will beat them bad like Belfry did. With the coaching change and transfers they should have beat a down Corbin by a lot. Don't see a quality win for Southwestern this year with all the hype. SW has to get more people involved in the offense and find a passing game to back the other teams defense up.
