What's your thoughts on the changes to the derby this year?
7 outs instead of 10
Divided into NL and Al divisions.
No home runs carry over

I wish the format stayed at 10 outs.
Everything else was an interesting twist. I thought Todd Frazier could win the entire event but sure didn't think he would be in the finals with 11 dingers.

With all the big names in this years competition, I figured it would been a much better show than what it actually was

^ I agree thought it would be a better show also. Guess target field is a really tough place to hit one out in.

At least next year it should be a good show with the allstar game comming to great America ball park in Cincinnati. Ball really flys there.

The Home Run Derby is boring to watch no matter what park it is in.

I plan on going to it next year at GABP. Always have wanted to attend one. There will be a show there next year
