Isn't there usually 50-60 teams in this?

no not in the summer. last year there was 27 teams in varsity and this year there are 24 now the middle school state after the season there are about 60 teams

Back in the summer of 2007 and 2008 when they had people who were in charge of getting teams and knew what they were doing, and the Hattons' were still running the place, there were at least 36-40 varsity teams and close to that many JV as well at the time. The place was packed with fans, great teams and players, AND great officials, too, as nothing but KHSAA seasoned veterans and college officials were brought in to work. Then Jared Prickett took over and got rid of those who knew what they were doing, and lowered pay for officials, etc, and it's never been the same since.

Henry Clay beat LCA in the championship game. Jeremiah Tisdale named tournament MVP. Madison Central beat Henry Clay in the JV division.

Henry Clay has a very good team. They should be one of the top teams in the 11th again this year. They've been really close to getting back to the state tournament for a few years. Is this the year they get over the hump?

So what is your thoughts on how this KBA turned out? Do you think that there is any validity in the outcome?
