He is a great player and will do well. I am sure he wants to play for his dad and told he also really wants to play DB which I am sure dad wants too. I think it is a lock to see him play both ways. If HHS would have used him at DB the season might have played out much different. I still believe he was not used enough on offense and should have also been played DB last year too. I think Dale was too stubborn to go away from not playing top athletes both ways last year, when it showed in several games that they needed to get the top athletes on the field more. Dale was a great coach, but last year will not be on the list for his best coached teams.

Since you seem to be in the know regarding HHS football, can you tell me if Feggins has played a down of defense while at HHS? It was my understanding that when he arrived at HHS, he was a QB. Any truth to that?

I have not seen him play any DB in HS, not sure if he did in JR high. I was told he really wants to play DB because his dad did and because several colleges are looking at him for DB and not WR. Do not believe he was ever a QB.

Feggins looked real good playing DB this years spring practice.

No way he plays QB, he is a D1 player at DB or WR, why would he play QB! He also has made comments about breaking receiving records this year, so you can't do that playing QB.

If no one can throw you the ball, how can you lead the state in receiving? Who says he is a D1 player at any position? You said yourself that he has played no DB in high school and yet he is going to play there in college? From what little I have seen of him, he is not a D1 receiver unless it is at the smaller end of the spectrum, such as a MAC school.

The D1 schools who offered him a scholarship is who. And told some have told him they want to move him to DB and not WR. His is a little short for D1 WR, but has great hands and decent speed. The comment about if they have no one to throw the ball to him is a question I had, if they do not have a QB, I am surprised he left Highlands who will have one of the best QB's in state next year. I know he wants to play for dad, but hope it does not hurt his chances of getting more D1 offers.

Are you sure he has offers? I am saying that he has no official offers based upon my information. Also my understanding that he came to HHS as a QB and was told that they had QB's and he would be moved to WR where he has played since arriving at HHS. Still say that he will be the QB at Warren Central next year and if offered by a D1 school it will be as an "athlete".

I do not think he has any official offers yet. Know he has talked to several.

His dad came riding into town on his high horse shouting to everyone that would listen that he was going to lead Warren Central to the promise land. He has quite a few players coming back this year. I hope he is interested in the team and not just padding his boys stats.

Often times a schools best athlete is played at QB (in high school that is).
If he has even just an above average arm and a pocket presence (doesn't get shook), w/ his overall athleticism. ..He could easily be a teams best option at the QB spot.

Took in a good portion of a 7 v 7 WC did against South Warren today. Feggins played WR and DB. Looked damn good at DB. Central had four guys take snaps at QB, but two took most and are the guys in contention for the role. None were Feggins.

At the WKU camp they had at Ryle I heard Logan Winkler put on a show going up against Feggins.
