They took their varsity and played Jenkins in a district game on the same night.

As I recall in the 4th inning Breathitt scored 6 or 7. Have to remember they are freshman and 8th graders playing a varsity schedule. They played a good game and only had 2 errors. Breathitt is getting better just takes time. You can't learn how to play when your a freshman. Has to start earlier than that and the little league in that town is a joke. Thats why I take mine to Hazard for little league. Combs has done a great job with this team. Everyone around has seen improvement from them. Powell's coach told me that they are daylight to dark better than they were 3 weeks ago.
