Can anyone list top ten active and top ten inactive coaches all time in 15th region? Thought it might be interesting to know.

Just from looking at the all-time-coaching records on KHSAA...Here are three names I found. I knew the first two but had forgotten the third.

Tommy has done a great job at Johnson Central, three region titles in a row - not many have that in the 15th Region!

As to your question, Runyon took 8 teams to the state tournament and his overall record in those seasons adds up to - 231 wins and 50 losses.

I know for a fact that Junior Newsome is over 500 wins. They did a ceremony for him either last year or the year before. I would say he has 520. Maybe Jammin Jamey could shed some light. I know Junior started coaching at Pikeville, but not sure how long he stayed.

Coach William Junior Newsome of Betsy Layne retired after this season with 537 wins under his belt. He obtained his 500th career win in the 2012/2013 season against Highlands in the Pikeville Invitational Tournament.
