With all of the excitement surrounding the 2012 recruiting class University of Louisville football coach Charlie Strong and his staff have put together, there was just as much hype surrounding the class that signed a year ago. And last year's class more than lived up to its billing, with more than half of the class making significant contributions to the 2011 season.Last year's class, which numbered 21, was rated the No. 29 class in the nation, according to Rivals.com. Eleven of those players saw action last season. Seven of the signees redshirted, one player went to prep school and is now on the roster, and two players are not currently listed as Cardinals.
