Trinity outscored Bullitt East 36-16 in the second half to advance to the elite 8 in the ...HSAA State Tournament with a 52-32 final. Bullitt East took a lead and controlled the game for much of the first half but a late Trinity run pulled them even at the break. The Shamrocks tried to keep Chargers Derek Willis out of the offense running multiple bodies at him and playing him very physical in the paint.
