KY High School B Ball Player Merry Go Round
#1
I'm just an old tiger from the old school way of thinking - play where you really live not live where you want to play.

However I do see where the argument is valid, A parent should be able to move your kid wherever he can have the most success and growth as a player.

So who will be where when the AAU season begins this summer.

I agree with you OldTiger...that said. Didn't Trey Farmer sit out for a whole year before he even tried to play? I believe that was why he was so rusty at the beginning of the season. You see, HE did it by the rules, with nary a complaint or injunction. When you start transferring illegally, the recruiting starts and then you end up with a team with absolutely NO ties to the school or even the area. It's not right, but I've no idea what to do about it, so I'll hush.

We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to join our lineup at T.O.P. Select Basketball. Over the past couple of seasons, we've had participation from some of the top players in Western Kentucky and Southern Indiana to include Logan O'bryan, Jacob Revlett, Tim Bickel, Caleb Coomes, Marshall Griffith, Chase Whitmore, Nick Wells, JC Gilbreath, Andrew Scott and Lucas Murray. Some acheivements during the 2013 season include a Championship of the Varsity Spring League at the Evansville Basketball Academy, Champions of the 8th Annual Warrior Classic in Bowling Green, Champions of the 10th Annual Midamerica Youth Basketball May Classic in Evansville, 2nd place at the Bosse High School Spring Slam, Semifinalists at the Midwest Youth Tournaments Hilltopper Blue Chip Tournament in Bowling Green and also acheived National Qualifier Status for the Midwest Youth Tournaments Summer Championships in Indianapolis.

This year's team is shaping up to be our strongest yet with commitments from many of the area's top players. We are in the process of developing a schedule of tournaments that will be fun, challenging and affordable. Most of the tournaments we will be participating in will be within a two hour radius of Owensboro, Ky. We plan to play in 1 or 2 NCAA certified events to maximize exposure to college coaches from Kentucky.

We have also obtained the services of former Owensboro Catholic and Kentucky Wesleyan College standout, Travis Owsley, to coach this year's team. As a graduate of KWC and an accomplished scholarship athlete, Travis will be able to utilize his basketball knowledge and contacts to maximize each player's potential for getting an opportunity to perform at the collegiate level. His insight and advice will be invaluable to each member of T.O.P. Select and we are excited to have him lead this year's squad.

We are in need of two or three players to fill out the roster with an emphasis on finding post player. If you or someone you know might be a good fit, please send us an email at topselectbasketball@gmail.com
