Corbin 52 Jackson County 48
#1
Parrot may be the worst coach in 13th Region history. Hats off to the Hounds.
#2
My main man Bubba called this one!
#3
It's good to be a Clay County fan right now
#4
This has nothing to do with Jc players. For all I know they may be great kids. But for you ignorant fans, who looked past Corbin, good job. Hope the trip to Corbin was worth it. Clay County is the best team in this region, and I honestly wanted Jackson so we could stomp them. Go back into your caves JC fans. Mt. Rushmore is gone, Collier and Lawson will either be in a CC/NL jersey and you all will be irrelevant as you have every year since existence with the exception of about 3-4 teams.

It's always good to be a CC fan. Sometimes it's just a little better.

Were u at cchsfan4life. That Jackson county bandwagon u jumped on just crashed and burned. Hey General just wanted to wish u and gamecast the best of luck next year.......Its a long way to the top if u wanna rock and roll. :hilarious:

Jackson fans colors are really showing right now. Shows what happens when you're irrelevant for 5-6 years then have a good team. No clue what to do with it.
#8
Funny, how the coach always seems to get the blame. I guess players never play bad when a team gets beat. I believe Parrot took 3 or 4 girls teams to the state. Do not care how much talent he had then, you have to know a little to make it to the state. Congrats Corbin, Corbin had the speed to match up well with Jackson Co.
#9
The guy on the other side is a pretty good coach. He doesn't get the credit he is due.
#10
I've watched Jackson Co 4 times this year and every single time someone said their biggest obstacle is their coaching. Picked them to win the region sad to see them go down. Talented team that looked primed for a run.
#11
I guess my preseason prediction of Corbin making it to the title game isn't to far off....

Corbin/Clay. Im still on it.
These two own the 13th. Always have, always will.
Coach P is the best coach in the region. This holds true once again.

I guess the 50th was as good as advertised, only district with two teams left, and South or Whitley beat both of them.

Good luck to Corbin and Wburg, I hope its an all 50th finals, but im sticking with my Corbin/Clay pick.

Corbin bench score 16pts
Jackson bench score 00pts

This was the different in the game.myself I was pulling for Jackson county...50th district looking pretty good. Go Williamsburg hope to see you redhound In the final. :worthy:

How was the officiating for the game? Was it called close or did they let the teams play?
#14
Mountain, if you were at the game it was evident Parrot completely got out coached tonight. In most cases the coach gets too much of the blame but in JC's case it has happened too many times. Clay will be atop the 13th once again.

They let them play Bubba. :pondering:

They let em play all night. If the 13th had called this game there would have been 50 fouls.
#17
Big advantage Clay if thats how its going to be the rest of the way!
#18
Best of luck next year Fox.
Collier, Lawson some programs are winners and some are not. That's all I have to say about that.
General see u next year. Oh my bad, no we won't

I talked my talk for my team this year, and they where defeated. Good luck to all teams the rest of the way. I will take all the verbal abuse from Clay County with an iron chin. Bubba, the officiating was not tight at all, let them play very physical and it really benefited Corbin. Hats off to Coach Petrowski and the Redhounds.

Big advantage Williamsburg longer court....Clay will need to sub alot just sayin Williamsburg is in good shape for this...I think. Confusedmoke:

Tony P should be 13th Region coach of the year. 21 wins, District Champs, and still rolling with what everyone thought was very little talent and too young of a team. Hats off to the seniors on the team as well. Their hard work is rubbing off on the youngsters and the team is jelling.
#22
Coach P has done a great job this year with a very young team.
Never overlook the Redhounds.
#23
Go hounds! And they said we were the worst team in the region. :flame:

And to think some Corbin fans called me crazy when I said Corbin would be right there again Confusednicker:

Very loose.
Let em play. Exactly how a ball game should be played.

64 u and I both know Williamsburg isn't going to run with Clay. They will try and slow it down, pass it 10 times and keep the game as close and low scoring as possible.

Pietrowski completely took Fox and the entire Jackson County team out of this game. Corbin was in control the majority of the time.

Clay County should be the heavy favorite right now, but after the first round, we should know by now that anything can happen.

The worst part about this tournament, though, is the fact that the 13th Region will face the winner of the 9th Region in the Sweet 16, which will probably be Newport Catholic. They are ranked 4th in the state.

As usual,BUBBA shows a total lack of class. I'm not stooping to your level tonight though. Collier tweeted after the game that he loves Jackson and will definitely be back. Lawson's girlfriend of 3 years is here. Hammons. A couple more ain't too hard to find these days. We may not be so irrelevant after all. Congratulations to the Redhounds. They carried out their gameplan almost perfectly and kicked our butt. Plain and simple. Go Williamsburg!
