I think he"s gonna redo his deal with Grundy too...reclassification will mean a lot of new teams on a lot of peoples schedules Id say....makes for some good games and by the seasons pretty much starting together{W.VA,KY,Va) will make a lot more teams available to play each other and not have to travel so far...

Let me add that Grundy is also going through a "change" - we have 2 schools re-joining our District next Summer after a long absence . We already play 1 of them, but we have to drop somebody to add the other one, and I don't know how much tweaking the District master schedule has to go through, so it may be a while before we know anything definite.

Added Pikeville to the Ashland schedule leaves two more open spots on the schedule. I'd love to have one of them locked up as Belfry and get a true powerhouse to fill the other position.

Does your district have 6 teams? That's the only way you get five district games in your season. I thought that all the districts had either 4 or 5 teams total, but maybe I'm wrong.

You are wrong Tomcat.
Pikeville, Paintsville, South Floyd, Allen Central, Betsy Layne, and Phelps make up our district. All we did was trade Hazard and Jenkins for Betsy Layne.
