What happened with Derrick Newsome? I know he is an assistant coach under Junior Newsome at Betsy Layne now. Did a teaching job open up for him there? He did a great job with Allen Central last season, I thought.

The All A is not a KHSAA sanctioned event and the people running it sets its own requirements. Shelby Valley meets those requirements. Looks like Allen Central will be moving up to 2A in football in 2015 just like Shelby Valley.
