we don't like for our kids to endure the pain of losing from a highly talented team like southwestern, but as a parent, or coach you have to teach the kids to adapt an overcome an not just settle for second! with the varsity kids playing selfish maybe, but the competition should take it as a challenge! agree to disagree!!!

There is a lot of life lessons to be learned with sports. So good ones and some bad.

You play whoever is on the schedule, and the line up they put on the field or floor. You deal with the things you have control over and not other issues.
