Morehead finishes the season 3-9. Giving up over 550 points and over 6500 yards on the season.
A lot can be attested to a new coaching staff and a young defense playing in a hard scheme to run. Only 6 seniors will be lost and 4 others quit during the season.
The only noticeable losses will be all-PFL LB Hendricks & Bornhauser.
Morehead started 3 freshman linebackers in the finale giving up 5 plays for more than 50 yards.
Morehead was in 3 of the losses until halftime and they just lost control.
2014
The outlook is extremely bright. This disappointing season will soon be forgotten. Morehead basically returns all there starters. There D line was very strong towards the end of the season and the O line played great. Gahafer is a quality QB and an entire of offseason studying and working will benefit this team that's started 6 true freshman in the finale. They also have a strong recieving Core. I am interested to see if Whitfield has a breakout year. In greater Cincy most are familiar because he was on UCs recruiting board till he was injured.
Morehead has the largest outreach to KY high schools for recruiting and proved it last summer with there record attendance of there summer camp.
Target Position-
LB- with losing Hendricks & Jones it leaves a noticeable hole because the Freshman that stepped in were not very impressive. I'd like to see them move An experienced DE into the middle to help stabilize the D. Then recruit some stars to learn behind him.
S- Coleman will be replaceable but Morehead lacks that big play Defensive Back. They really needed a ball Hawk playing the pass happy PFL teams.
The 2014 Competition-
The PFL powerhouses- Drake, Butler, Dayton all graduate over 70% of there starters I would expect .500 years for each of these programs next year. Jacksonville is the wildcard and most likely favorite to win the PFL.
San Diego- got busted paying there players so I doubt will be eligible for post season play next season.

Don't agree with most of above. Dl was not very good this year and Jackson was best db in league by far. To much passing and not enough mcsherria. Have to keep that defense off field. Can't score like In years past. Look for staff changes asap
