This was her third state championship in a row, and she set a new state record, breaking the previous record she set last year. The crazy thing is she is just a Freshman, so she has 3 more championships to win.

Thanks to the Karas sisters, Collins has won the girls individual state championship every year of their existence. Caterina won it the first year and younger sister Gabriella has won it the past 3 years. With Jay Solinger winning the boys this year, Collins has 5 cross country state championships in 4 years of existence. That's pretty good if you ask me.
